ApplxBridge was originally formed in 2003 as Imperative Informatics in South Africa. The organization started its business lifecycle as a Software Research & Development lab, focussing on Business Tactical Planning & Execution applications. This included the research and development of operational frameworks as process-measurement extensions of the Kaplan & Norton Balanced Scorecard®. In late 2007, private shareholders acquired 100% of this application development capability and strategically refocused the business towards innovative Mobile application developments. At the same time, brand establishment was part of the new approach and the organization was duly renamed to ApplxBridge.

ApplxBridge holds 50.1% of Imperative Informatics (Africa), a then ICT services subsidiary of Imperative Informatics with strong bespoke-software development skills in the corporate South African market. This making for a beneficial alliance between the innovative product development lab of ApplxBridge and software managed services offered by Imperative Informatics (Africa).

Today, ApplxBridge is at the forefront of Mobile application development, with the aim of introducing World-Class, World-First application products. With its beginnings in South Africa and its established global focus, ApplxBridge will always be set to establish business trends instead of following what has been achieved before. With a distinct focus on research & development, Applxbridge is well positioned to create state-of-the-art, relevant products whilst its group companies focus on customer deliverables with quality service management.
